2018 Autumn International Alumni Career Sharing

作为清华经管学院职业发展中心（CDC）系列特色职业发展活动之一，2018年秋季国际生“学长学姐分享会”于2018年10月18日晚，在经管学院举行，同时也拉开了本年度秋季学期学长学姐分享会的序幕。

As one of the featured career development events of Career Development Center (CDC), Tsinghua SEM, 2018 Autumn International Alumni Career Sharing was held on the evening of the October 18th at Tsinghua SEM, which remarked the prelude of Alumni Sharing event of Autumn Semester 2018.

本次分享会，CDC精心策划并准备，结合不同的求学经历、文化背景和工作经验，邀请了来自不同年级的五位国际生校友嘉宾回学院做分享。

After days of elaborate planning and preparation, CDC invited five international alumni from five grades with diversified education experience, work profile and cultural background return to Tsinghua SEM to share.

同时，本次活动面向经管全体国际学生开放，共有本次活动来自中国大陆、港澳台、欧洲、东南亚、美洲和大洋洲等国家和地区的近百名国际生同学踊跃报名本次活动。

Meanwhile, the event was open to all international students of Tsinghua SEM. The event was attended by nearly 100 international students from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Europe, Southeast Asia, America and Oceania etc.

分享会现场，同学们和校友嘉宾们进行了高效的交流与沟通。校友嘉宾们也都倾力支持此活动，畅所欲言，由表及里，从浅入深地分享自己过往的求职经历和职业转换心路历程，为学弟学妹们的职业发展道路和如何提升在中国企业的文化适应能力指点迷津。

At the event, the students and the alumni guest speakers communicated very effectively. Alumni guest speakers also tried their best to support this activity and spoke freely. From the table to the inside, they shared their past job search experience and career transition mentality from the shallower to the deeper. Also alumni guest speakers advised the career development path to some questioners and communicated deeply on how to improve cultural adaptability in Chinese enterprises.

Autumn International Alumni Career Sharing

分享会由2018级GMBA的国际生Olga Kasabdji主持。校友嘉宾们就国际生如何有效地在中国的找到全职和实习的工作机会， 给出了两条中肯的建议：

第一，提升中文语言水平；

第二，通过宣讲会，招聘会等活动拓宽人脉资源，多向校友请教求职经验。

此外，校友嘉宾和学生们就中国企业中的文化环境中，如何申请办理外国人来华就业的工作签证和工作许可等问题进行了讨论。

The host of the event was Olga Kasabdji, Career Development representative of 2018 GMBA international students group. The alumni guests gave two pertinent suggestions on how to effectively find full-time and internship opportunities in China.

First, improve Chinese language proficiency.

Second, broaden the networks through campus talks, job fairs, etc., asking alumni for advice on job hunting.

In addition, alumni guest speakers and students discussed how to get along with work visas and work permits for foreigners to work in China in the cultural environment of Chinese companies.

同学们积极举手提问，嘉宾们也热心地答疑解惑。在一片愉悦热烈的氛围中，2018年秋季国际生“学长学姐分享会”顺利结束。

The students raised their questions, and the alumni guests also enthusiastically answered questions. In a pleasant and enthusiastic atmosphere, 2018 Autumn International Alumni Career Sharing ushered in the end.

活动期间，CDC主任顾英杰老为校友嘉宾们颁发了感谢牌，感谢他们在百忙之中抽出时间为学弟学妹们分享满满的职业发展干货。

Also during the event, Jane Gu, Director of Career Development Center, awarded honorary certificates to the alumni guest speakers, thanking them for taking time out of their busy schedule to share the full range of professional development valuable experience for their schoolmates.
